One Story Moment is a personal journaling app built around one idea: your stories belong to you. The app is designed so that your writing and photos never leave your device unless you explicitly export or share them yourself.

What we collect

Nothing. Your stories, photos, and settings are stored locally on your device (in your browser's local storage on the web, and in the app's private storage on iOS and Android). We do not operate accounts, analytics, tracking, or advertising.

Reminders

On iOS and Android, daily reminders are scheduled entirely on your device. On the web, if you enable push reminders, your browser's push subscription (a random endpoint URL), your chosen reminder time, and your time zone are stored so the reminder can be delivered. No journal content is ever included.

Exports and sharing

When you export your data or share your weekly summary, the file or message is created on your device and handed to the app or destination you choose. We never see it.

Deleting your data

Delete individual stories in the app at any time. Removing the app (or clearing the site's browser storage) deletes everything permanently — there is no server copy to erase.
